More Samsung-exclusive gear is coming to Fortnite on November 1

Epic Games’ blockbuster third-person shooter Fortnite originally came to Android only on Samsung devices. Although it’s now more widely available, Samsung users still get some exclusive perks. Last month, Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4 owners could snag an exclusive in-game Galaxy skin, and starting in November, they’ll also have access to a matching accessory pack.

The cosmetic accessory pack will include a Galaxy-themed harvesting tool, glider, and “back bling.” Like all accessories in Fortnite, the Galaxy set is purely aesthetic, and while we don’t yet know what the items will look like, if you’re a Fortnite player with a Note 9 or Tab S4, there’s really no reason not to grab them. Samsung's double value trade-in program offers up to $600 when you buy a Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note 9

Samsung’s phones are a bit more expensive at every tier than competing devices, but it does offer competitive trade-in values for older phones. Today, those values are effectively doubled for most phones. You can shave up to $600 off the price of a new Samsung device if you trade in your old phone.

The new doubled trade-in values are a bit odd because Samsung decided they should all be nice, round numbers. Read MoreSamsung’s double value trade-in program offers up to $600 when you buy a Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note 9 was written by the awesome team at Android Police.
