Android 9 Pie arrives on the OnePlus 5 and 5T with Open Beta 20/22

It has taken OnePlus a bit longer than expected to bring Android 9 Pie to the OnePlus 5 and 5T, but the wait is over — if you’re willing to use beta releases, anyway. Open Beta 22 for the OnePlus 5 and Beta 20 for the 5T are now available, which are based on Android Pie.
Here’s the full changelog for the Open Betas:

Added support for more apps (Telegram, Discord, IMO, Uber, OLA) in parallel apps

Now able to switch dynamically to your current location
Display more suggestions when the search function is used
Fixed an issue that prevented the app from refreshing when the location is changed
Fixed an issue that resulted in some users being unable to find certain locations

Samsung Internet Browser gets design overhaul in v9.0 [APK Download]

Since it became available for non-Samsung phones, its Internet Browser app has become a popular alternative to Google Chrome. Compared to the stable version currently served by the Play Store (v7.4), there are several aesthetic differences in the v9.0, seemingly aligning better with the upcoming Samsung Experience 10 update.

The first noticeable change is that the labels under the nav bar items have been removed and the overflow menu has been replaced by a hamburger in the bottom right, forcing out the bookmarks shortcut.
